    Hi Judy
No, unfortunatly nothing has changed over the weekend.
I have been checking prices for the cruise in different markets and the prices are not bad You know I would and needless to say I want to go!!!!!
But you know which cruise is stuck in my mind?? Celebrity Century 7 nights Western Med. Its the same ports as the Voyager of the seas cruise which I have done already but I just want to try the Century. Especially now that the ship is not coming back to the Med but are scheduled to do short Caribbean cruises year round. The prices for the 7 days cruise on the Century is not bad priced either ....so many cruises so little time

Arnaldo says Hi and misses you

I had a look at the shore ex. Princess is offering in Kusadasi and they do Ephesus, st. mary and the st john basilica.

Well I've been checking out the Royal WOW sale, not much to say WOW about really, if you ask me

I did find a doable cruise for me going solo though It's on Navigator of the Seas, leaving from Malaga, Spain on October 30th. I'd have to fly out Oct 28th and could return Nov 4th, but the single supp gets me in a balcony for $1219 plus port & taxes of $32.89, so total of $1251.89. The airfare isn't too ugly, nothing nonstop, the price is around $525. It is an aft balcony cabin on deck 9 too! It's a very short cruise, so I'm not sure if it's worth it? Only 5 nights and 2 ports. The price is good though for solo

I was also doing research on some cruises last night for maybe Mike and I. There was some good pricing on Carnival. I know you wouldn't be on it, but we like to laugh at the over the top One left from Fort Lauderdale and the pricing for airfare plus cruise was around $850 per person. Not too bad really, but then we have to figure out what to do with Diva.

There is no way I am going to be able to wait for this Star Cruise I know me too well

I'm now going to check out NCL for Europe

I did a little bit of research on Istanbul last night, I am no longer nervous about the port and it seems there is a lot of things to do there within the historic center. Everyone seems to say a Palace is a must see, if it's open. I forget the name of the Palace right now. Apparently there is a tram to get from the port to the Tourist areas. Also there are signs in both Turkish and English so we should be able to get our bearings.

Hmm, well it's still cheaper solo to do a land vacation

I was pricing Alicante and I could find something for 5 nights including airfare between $1,000 and $1,300.

Apparently, I really want to do something this year

I have seen the 5 nighter on the Navigator. 5 days isnt much but in a combination with a land trip then yes, maybe.
You have all the oportunities to do something closer to home for next to nothing.
I have seen those prices and cry because I cant have them.
I have now read great reviews about NCL and the ship Gem and Jade. They are in Europe you know. I even looked at the Med cruises onboard the new Carnival Dream.
I need to do something to, before or after moving to Norway.
I need a cruise fix Judy
I could easily go without "A", too

I priced out the Celebrity Century, for solo it would be taking me to $1839 for the lowest category of balcony

I'd love to get to Malta too, so I'd like to find something that goes there. Since we're planning the Star's itinerary, I wasn't really worried about getting to Rome as much as a couple other places not on the Star's itinerary

I can afford a single supp so long as it's between $650 and $800. If I go up to $999 then it's that close to $2K number that makes me go Airfare is probably going to cost from $500 and up, so I'd like my cruise and air to be around that $2K price and I'd be ok with it

I don't even know where Malaga Spain is! I was just pricing it since the balcony category was $669 or something like that

The problem with closer to home is that all the drivable ports are doing Bahamas cruises...not my favorite of the islands and been there done that on cruises and land vacations more times than I can count! I know, it's horrible Western Caribbean's also aren't a draw for me, too many trips and cruises to the islands they go to.

Anymore I like itineraries that are deep Eastern or Southern Caribbean.

On another note, I believe they are retiring the NCL Majesty. Good news is that it's retiring...Bad news is that I don't think there are any cruises lined up to leave out of Philly

Judy, Malaga is south Spain, on the costa del sol, not far from Gibraltar.
NCL does Malta have you checked vacations to go and their last minute or 90 days ticketer or whatever its called??
    Some great prices there.
