I'm been browsing I haven't really found a better pricing deal then the Oct 4th Navigator for me solo.

I figure things are up in the air for you and I right now. More so for you. Mike and I were talking last night and I asked him again if he'd do one of the cruises in September? He said, once Memorial Day gets here we'll know if we're moving so he didn't want to decide anything until then.

He did say if I wanted to do something without him to not let moving influence that. I said I'm NOT!

I am getting quotes from all over the place and I didnt like the quote they sent me, Euros 2000 for 5 cubic meter. Nope, I dont think so

"A" tell me to go ahead and travel without him also but I know he wants to come along. The other day when he was out walking the dog he was thinking how lovely it would be to be onboard a cruise ship again I said, well, lets do something about it

As long as your mother is happy doing the slots thats all that matters

MIL loves playing domino. I dont. So "A" has to sit and play with her for hours.

I have a feeling you are going to do the October 4 cruise

It does sound expensive to move. Can you sell things and start over? I don't mean to sell everything though! Just some of it to make the move a little easier?

I think Mike wouldn't mind a cruise either...the day when he said maybe he'd go with me to Europe I almost fell off the chair. I knew I'd lose him with the long flights though! He would absolutely love it there, he's into history but I think he just doesn't want to do what's needed to get there.

Yep, taking her to the casino is her Mother's Day gift so whatever she wants to do is fine with me. I just have to pay the taxes of about $13 or $14 for the hotel...the room is free.

I'm hoping to win BIG there! I play the progressive slots to see if I can get that really large jackpot! I told Mike if I win big he better get ready, I'll be chartering a yacht to take him to Europe! Come to think of it, if I win big and charter the yacht, I'll move you and A! We may need to hire some people to load it...if I'm chartering a yacht...I won't be performing manual labor Yeah, right, like it would change me that much?

I haven't played dominos for years! I don't mind playing them, it's a shame I'm not there My favorite to play though is cards

Your favorite is to play cards!! and you are telling me this now next time I will bring a deck of cards

you will win big. you have done realy good in the past.
I cant think if a better way to move our stuff then on your yacht

I have not been thinking about selling some of our stuff. We dont want to do that. Yes, stuff like the sofa and dining table and a few other things, yes. they are not coming with. Still, it adds up. We are going to have a huge clear out before we leave. So far DHL does a special land transport and as long as we pack everything in boxes they will work out the cheapest.
We can also store some stuff here and then have it sent up. This is a good idea as we can just leave right away

I think I have said this before but would Mike do a one way flight and a cruise back to the states???? Not so much flying then. to bad there isnt a concord type speed plane yet

Love cards! Poker, Pinochle, Spades, Hearts, Gin Rummy, 500 Rummy, even Michigan Rummy all of them

Ok, so the bulky things won't be going with you..that's what I was talking about, more big furniture items. I think it would be a nice way to move I wouldn't mind winning enough to do that either

The issue he has then with cruising over and back is the time needed. I think HAL does a 20 or a little longer night from NY that goes over to Europe and back to NY. I said whatever number of days it was and you'd have thought I was going to remove his arm

One day we may have to do that long flight one way and a short one back. I'd love to do a Panama Canal through the canal and they only go one way, unless you're doing B2B's and then there we go again with "that much time???"

Mike needs to learn to sleep during the flight, he normally doesn't and just feels cramped. On his last cruise we flew from Florida first class and he still felt UGH?? I thought we had plenty of space!

I did see some of those Cunard crossings too, some are priced cheap! I get their sale flyers in the mail. I get everyone's sale flyers or emails! When they come in the mail I tell Mike someone is trying to tell us something!

well, you have a lot of work on your hands gettin Mike into a long flight.
Maybe Robins idea with a bridge would be a very good idea

"A" does not like flying but as long as he have to he will. Long flights he will do but prefer train from here to Barcelona

I'm all about speed! MIL won't fly and on our last cruise, we flew down to Fort Lauderdale. MIL, SIL and her hubby took the train, it was 24 hours?!?! They are NUTS! It would have been faster to drive, seriously! If it was my Mom, I'd have knocked her out and carried her on the plane!

I'll drive somewhere too, depends on where we're going...but if the drive/train is followed by a week long trip, I'd just as soon fly. Really it depends on how long the alternatives are. If your train to Barcelona is 4 hours, then no biggie, if it was 8, I'll be on the plane and see you there

I have to say, after we took the train from Barcelona to home in November I started to like taking trains. Its much more leg room and you get to see much more. I like it!! I dont think I would mind taking a train for 8 hours plus

Now, 24 hours on a train would be a little bit to much for my taste also. But I did think about taking the train from Spain to Norway. Well, I thought about it for a second maybe a full minute

OMG, now I have this mental picture of you knocking your mother out and carry her into the place Maybe thats what you have to do with Mike. But get someone to carry him onboard??
