Thread: Star Princess-Baltic 8/30/07

Anybody going on this one with us????

Looks like I will be getting on when you are getting off. We are going 9/9/07!! No one has posted on the thread yet that I started. If no one posts here we can at least chat about what tours we are interested it.

Doesn't it sound like a great trip? We are going on the cruise tour which goes to Budapest, Vienna, Prague and Berlin before the cruise.

Wow, that pre cruise tour sounds great also! I really want to see Vienna someday. That would be more time than I can take off work all at once. I will be very happy with the ports on the cruise, can't wait to tour them.
I do hope there will be more folks posting on our roll calls as it gets closer to the cruises.

Have you thought about which tour you are taking in St. Petersburg? That's the city I'm most looking forward to.

We've thought about it a little but nothing definite yet. Karen wants to see the palaces and so do I. Jan did this trip a few years ago and did a tour of the city and the Hermatage in one day, Said it was very good. We plan to book the tours through the ship. We are more comfortable doing it that way, even if it is a little more.

I think we will do the same but maybe take the two day excursion. Lots of time yet to figure it out.

Lots of time is right. Who knows what we will finally end up with when it gets down to the wire. Meanwhile, dreaming is nice!

We've booked with a private tour guide in St. Petersburg for the full 2 days and we're looking for others who may want to share. She gets you into palaces, etc. before the ship crowds. Private AC Mercedes van - alla tours. We are two professional photographers who will be "snap happy" and want to see the "must see" things as well as the people, neighborhoods, etc.

We've wanted to do this cruise for years but have taken several others because of unbeatable prices. Now we can't wait. We're going to investigate Amsterdam for 3 days before getting ourselves to Copenhagen to meet the ship.
