By the time we returned from our last excursion in St.Vincent I was ready to throw my DH "overboard"!!!

My friend and I thought the excursion with a rather long bus trip through the mountains to some lovely falls would be an excellent way to experience St.Vincent.

Not only were either of our DHs happy ... but, they also enlisted several other DHs (at this point AHs) who were much more interested in beer vendors at the scenic stops than anything else ....

HELP! Need suggestions for our upcoming port stop in St. Vincent! DH loves going to the beach and ... per above ... beach bars and beer!

Well unless you are joined at the hip, why not take seperate excursions. The ladies go and do what they want and the men go and drink beer at the beach. Now this does not have to apply for all ports, just those where you can not agree on excursions.

I couldn't have said it better. Now, would it work? They may be hard to separate, despite the odds.

I vote for different excursions.

I can tell you there might be some hubby would want to do that would be way to much exercise for a vacation.

Honestly, I love just going to the beach and drinking beer! Problem is ... when there's another couple to be considered .... Probably, why we now try to avoid cruising with friends from home.

On shore excursions we are pretty much "joined-at-the-hip"!

Because we seldom travel together on business trips, we do try to spend time with each other on cruises.
