The Sea Blaster is a 70-foot turbo diesel speedboat. Expect to get TOTALLY wet! We even had to wear our masks on the ride over to see!
It was really quite a fun ride!
Because of the speed, we were able to get to an excellent snorkel spot that would not have been possible on other three hour tours. The ocean was tough that day but our achor location at a beautiful sheldered cove was perfectly calm with warm clear blue water.
After the instructions on where to snorkel, etc. we had about 90 minutes to snorkel where we wished or to just play in the water. Additional help was then given to first time snorkelers as well as to those who needed extra help.
I was impressed with the crew! If they noticed someone's mast did not seem to fit exactly right, they'd insist on helping them adjust it or find another. They really seemed to want everyone to have a great time!
The "Skipper" commented on my Heavenly Days hat. When he learned my husband and I had been on the Heavenly Days catamaran several times, he said that we normally passed it going back. We did! He pulled up very close and had me wave my hat at them. Everyone on both excursions began talking with and toasting each other. Fun!
The trip back was a gentle ride ... going with the current. Made drinking a glass of rum punch (ok... several glasses) easier.![]()
It was a very good excursion!![]()
