Exclamation Sky Ride in St Thomas

We did this this past trip, and thought I would give out a bit of info that might make a difference.

You can walk to this if you are at the Havensport dock, it is basically across the street and down the block. If you have a problem with stairs though I think you should reconsider this. To get to the skyride you have to climb alot of stairs, and then after getting to the top, you have to go down alot of stairs to get to the shopping area/bar.

The view is terrific and the Bushwacker drink was great! A few photo ops are available at the top. The shopping is just the basic tshirts and knick-knacks.

How many stairs is "a lot"? Would it be comparable to going from Deck 6 to Deck 11 to get to breakfast on a day when the elevator just didn't seem to want to stop at Deck 6?

Thanks -- not looking for an exact count, but rather if it was like 2 flights or 10 flights.....

Somewhere in between is my guess. It seemed like 30 steps at the bottom level....and at least that many when you got to the top. My knees were not happy with me and it is a good thing there were beverages at the top!

Angie, do you have any pics from the skyride? Pics from the Paradise Point? I really wanted to do this when we were there, but apparently I travel with chickens (which is okay, because they like to snorkel and I don't). I may have to try it on my own next time if it looks worth it!

I have a couple...others I was with also took some....will check and try to post some for you. FWIW..It is an enclosed car, as you can see when looking at the link in the previous post. We had someone who is afraid of heights who went along and was fine.

Angie, thanks for the info on the stairs. Might be having second thoughts on that.
