We were on the other bus, it was still alot of fun though.
It kinda reminded me of Mr. Toads wild ride at Disneyland.
Part of the fun was the great group we were with, several of which are going to be on the Alaska Cruise in 2007.

We had him and loved him. Others in our group had a different guide and they weren't too impressed. My cousin said he would pass a building and say something like ... that's a building. He has several coaches though and odds are you would get a good guide ... you just never know. You would still get to go to the beaches and to the top of the Mountain ... you just might not get the detailed information.
I was on the second bus with a different guide (and Mikeys family, and my kids and our friend Eric and family,and Donna, and ZZKat and Ed,) and our experience was way different than those on the other bus. We were lucky to get to the stops at the same time as Godfrey's folks, so we did get some of the history and information thank goodness. We could not however hear much of the tour guides talk, as only the front seat could hear when we were moving, but they said we didn't miss a heck of alot, and somebody would pass on the things that they COULD hear. Between Mikeys family and Ed and Alex and Rocky, our narrative was probably the funniest ever. And we sang, and were generally silly when not hanging on for our lives on the hairpin curves. (no seatbelts, heck no railing on some of the benches) I would have been disappointed at the lack of narrative if I had been with a different group I think. But the stops, the view and the beaches were awesome!!

The wheels on the bus go round and round, round and round, round and round, the wheels on the bus go round and round all through the day. That was some exciting trip, huh?
