Another vote for Godfrey! We had a group of 8 from our ship plus we stopped and picked up more from other ships but Godfrey was more than willing to accommodate all the different beach requests (we chose Coki). After he dropped us off at the beach and took the others back to the ship, he even made the trip back downtown to a particular jewellry store so someone could exchange a purchase and someone else could pick up a ring being resized. Once he got them back to the ship, he returned to the beach to pick up the swimmers. A great deal for a great price!

I just sent my request to Godfrey. I hope I'm not too late for next Friday (1/26).

We booked Godfrey via our tour guide in Dominica two days prior, no problem being so late,we didn't get Godfrey as our driver but our driver was just great. Very well spent $20. We picked Coki as our beach. Had a great time snorkling.

Website states prices went up to $25/person. Not a big deal, just thought I would inform.

Just one word of caution-
The day we used Godfrey last March, he had booked too many folks for just his pickup/tourbus, and we were put into a friends truck. Unfortunately, this tour guide had no PA system working and at times I wondered if the poor thing was going to make it up the mountain. We couldn't hear the driver at all, so we had virtually no tour given. It was a disappointing day after hearing so many wonderful things about Godfrey.

My suggestion is that you confirm with Godfrey that he, not another driver, will be giving you the tour.

His email back to me said that he "should" be our tour guide. Now a question, if he isn't, should we not go?

We had him and loved him. Others in our group had a different guide and they weren't too impressed. My cousin said he would pass a building and say something like ... that's a building. He has several coaches though and odds are you would get a good guide ... you just never know. You would still get to go to the beaches and to the top of the Mountain ... you just might not get the detailed information.
