On port stops in St.Thomas we always enjoy going to St.John! No matter how you get there it's worth seeing!

We've been very happy with the St John Trunk Bay Beach & Snorkel on recent stops .

One good thing about both of these islands, you really don't need to do an organized excursion and pay lots of money to be overcrowded.

As was suggested, you can take a water taxi to St. John if you're into hiking.

And in St. Maarten it's cheap to rent a car or even a jeep and go up into the mountains for some hiking.

You have to take a regular taxi to the other side of the island and then a water taxi to St. John.
