Funny thing I was wondering this myself, we have to do a bit of deciding ourselves, it's a dilemma, we don't want to overspend but also don't want to spoil our mega cruise by (me) being mean!

We did take one trip to St John for about 3-4 hrs. After being in St Thomas too many times, it's a nice break.

Just looked at the Gallery photos, seems nice. I am not that familiar with the Virgin islands , been to Tortola & V. Gorda.Don't really like the look of St. Thomas hasn't it got a bad rep lately?

I've done the St. John Island Tour twice. Quite honestly, I find it more fun than seeing the same places over and over again on St. Thomas, itself!

After 4 calls at St. Thomas, to date, I admit to being disappointed with the usual offerings, as most excursions end up at the same venues, anyway.

It's a pity that this beautiful island is usually so crowded with the "not-so-beautiful" people riding around in the 'safari buses!!'

Nowdays when we stop in St. Thomas we seldom get off the ship! Not shoppers or beach people anymore and have done all the tours we wanted.....so it's a ship day for us.

We look forward to having port stops in St. Thomas so we can get to St.John!

    John and Others ....

There's a world of difference between St.John and St.Thomas. So much more laid back and far less crowded. Most of St.John is part of the Virgin Island Nataional Park so much is totally upspoiled by commercialization. There are also some old Sugar Plantations.

Even if you aren't a beach people, it's wonderful to take a scenic tour! Very Beautiful!

We did once, and it was really nice. But, the to and from uses a lot of your day.

If I don't know the answer I'm fairly certain I can find it.

A bad day at sea is better than a good day at work.
