We were hoping to go up there next week to enjoy the view and have a banana daquri. Guess not now

This is really sad. I am sure they will rebuild, it has been a St. Thomas institution for 60 years.

ditto what everyone has said. we were there in january when conrad took us on a tour of the island. it's very very sad. i too hope they rebuild it and quickly.

I have never been to St Thomas, but will be there next month. When originally booked this was a definite "must do". Then, there is the closure of the the Pirates Tour", not to mention....my ship docks at Crown Bay. From the reviews....my first visit to St Thomas is NOT getting off to a good start. I'm sure I will still enjoy it, no matter what!

Shay, Mountain top had some great views but the view from most of the higher elevations is nice. Crown Bay is not too bad- it is just a short cab ride away from anywhere.
