    A quick Spiderman review

    Hi all,

I joined up here not long ago while researching excursion options for our last cruise. It was on this board that I discovered and contacted Spiderman Island Tours. I normally post on another board, but I thought that since I contacted Spiderman Island Tours here that I'd post a quick review here. So here goes...

On Tuesday, September 2, we visited St. Thomas via the Carnival Glory.
It was a wet and rainy day behind Tropical Storm Hanna. Luckily our tour guide for the day was Conrad of Spiderman Island Tours.

Before our cruise I had tried emailing several of the St. Thomas tour providers. Conrad was the only one to respond to my questions. I ended up contacting him several different times with questions and concerns. He responding quickly and helpfully each time.

As I said previously, our tour took place after the storm so the island itself, although very beautiful, wasn't being very cooperative. We had rain, drizzles, clouds, and fog. Despite the weather we still had a wonderful time because of Conrad.

Strangely enough, when arrived at the Mountain Top the fog/clouds was so bad the visibility was almost zero; however, within a couple of minutes the fog and clouds rolled away enough that we did get a pretty good view.

There's something about Conrad that within seconds of meeting him makes you feel as if he's a long lost friend or family member. He also didn't seem like someone who was just going through the motions and doing a job. He seemed like someone who enjoyed what he was doing and who wanted you to have a great time.

In my opinion the best money that can be spent on St. Thomas is a Spiderman Island tour. I just hope I can return again soon in the sunshine to take another tour with Conrad.

If you read this Conrad, thanks again for a wonderful time.

This is not a Spiderman review, but it is an update on Spiderman latest cruise on Carnival Legend to the western Caribbean. First of all it seems longer then a 7 night cruise, no complains from me. Grand cayman is the place to be very nice down town area lots of shops and well maintain Island I would say..Clean.
Cozumel was not one of my favorite places to be, very flat and not much to see out side of the town.
It was my second time to Belize so I did some sopping again plus a city tour, I really like the shopping in Belize, lots of clothes, shoes and more.
Roatan/Honduras is one of those places that you know are out there some where, but never in your wildest imaginations thought you would see, very poor Island, I also think that the best tour guide was on Roatan Island, and the people were very friendly.
Believe it or not I got tired of the food on the ship.

Hey, Spiderman: Do you know if ship time is the same as 'island time?' We are Atlantic time zone here and I thought you were, too. I just don't want to be late for our tour if the ship says something different.

St.Thomas time is 1 hour ahead of atlantic time.
Some ships change time to match St.Thomas time and some dont. My tour is on St.Thomas time.

If atlantic is the same as east coast, then yes we are an hour ahead of atlantic.
