When HAL used to dock at Havensight, we did that one time -- it was great.

Another time when we based ourselves at Frenchman's Reef for a couple of weeks, we arranged for a small boat to take us and 4 others around to the various islands -- went from Red Hook.

Now HAL docks at Crown Bay and it is toooo far to get to the ferries from there - especially when the ship isn't in port long.

And if you check you would notice that the different ships recomment diferent stores. Next time you come and walk into the stores, check by the door as u walk in and u will see a counter on the side of the door that counts every time a person walks in to a store, that will tell you how many custermers walk in and average the amount of sales the store should have made, and you will see all of the workers in the store will duck down when entering the store, that is so they will not be counted as a coustermer.
That probably ticked us off more than anything, finding out they get a cut! That's the first and last port of call meeting we went to too. Another humongus waste of time. Coulda been doing something important!

I think that would be trunk bay. Very nice beach.

St. Johns is the capital of Antigua St. John is a US Virgin Island that is 2/3 National Park.

It's a mighty long ferry ride from St. Thomas to St. John's, but only about 15-20 minutes from Red Hook, or about 45-50 from Charlotte Amalie to St. John

Not to bust on you, I am sure you had a great time, and if it was Trunk Bay as boyconny suggested, it is a very nice beach.

When I visit a Island for the first time, I do an Island tour, why?you csan see the in's and out's of the Island, so that you can make decide if you want to return to that place in the future.

An excellent idea. Each port (or any destination) has its own charm and appeal. The only way to find out is by taking a local tour and get a sampling of everything (BTW, there is nothing so different than tours of St. Thomas, NYC, and London.....)
