And how bad are they? Here in Texas we are at $4.00 a gallon, I suspect you are about $6, maybe?

St Thomas is for shoppers. If you like to shop this is the place. We do not like to shop. There is a Swvorski Crystal store there that we go to each time. Our first time there was 1998 and then you could ride the tram up to the top of the peak for about 5 bucks. They have a really good restaurant/bar up there and some interesting shops.

We love St Thmas - have been there many times.

One time, many years ago, we made Frenchman's Reef our base and visited some of the surrounding islands.

I really loved it when HAL docked at Havensight. Next time we are there we are going to take a taxi over to the new Harbor Shops.

I could not help but to respond to the line you wrote about taking the tram for $5.00 in 1998, I don't think it was that cheap, only if you were staying at a hotel, then on Wednesday nights and Wednesday nights only do you pay $5.00, as a hotel guest.
