I wonder if $17.00 is the standard rate for the skylift or just Carnival's mark-up? We did one of these in Alaska and you can buy your ticket right there. I am not sure the benefit of buying this in advance through Carnival.

No - I don't think there is a benefit - it is a short walk from the pier (no transportaion needed at all) and I seem to remember that we paid around $10 or $12.

I liked it, but it is WAY overpriced.

Better and higher views across from the top of the mountain. For $25, I got transportation to downtown, a tour of the island, and a trip to the beach, then brought back to the ship.

This maybe a stupid question... but...does the price include the return trip or is that the cost of another ticket?

The price is roundtrip.

We paid $17 each on Christmas Day just walking up on our own.
