There is no attemp to completing the buidlings inside.

No one wants to sign a lease for there.

Houch & KK ... Thanks for the update on Crown Bay! Glad to hear it's easier to get taxis from there. Still, would miss Havensight ... just because I'm use to it.

I was on the Caribbean Princess in February and we docked at Crown Bay. A few shops were open and it looked like a few others were getting ready to open.

This past May we were on St. Thomas for a week and the last day we were there the CB was in at Crown Bay. My wife and I realized in Feb we never got a picture of us with the ship in the background. No problem, on the way to the airport I made a detour and stopped at Crown Bay. The ship looked magnifient and alot more shops had opened. We found some people "off the ship" struck up a conversation and asked if they could take our picture with the ship in the background. Afterwards, my wife decided to get an iced latte at the coffee bar there and we were off on our way to the airport.

Crown Bay has come along very nicely. There are some shops and restaurants right off the pier. Taxis are plentiful to bring you to town. I like Crown Bay, it's very scenic, and much less crowded than downtown or Havensight area.

Here's a recent pic of Emerald Princess docked at Crown Bay:

I would say...it's a good place to grab something while going / coming from somewhere else on the island. Not so much as....a destination in itself. It's very nice, but don't plan on spending your whole day at Crown Bay....

I'll be back home on The Rock in early June. I'll try and stop by Crown Bay so I can report back.
