It takes a lot of work to prepare for the worlds largest cruise ship, but a chance to visit the tropical beauty and Dutch and French heritages of St. Maarten makes it worth it. Discover what makes this island such a priceless destination.

No but it might list a little from all the money left behind. Personall I like the French side. My Dutch friends probably won't talk to me again if they ever read that remark but it is true.

That's really something that Oasis is able to dock there!

I remember when SS Norway was too large to do so and we always had to tender.

Such a nice island. It must be miserable going there when the Oasis hits it with 5000 plus passengers per trip.

That mainly had to do with the depth of the channel. Plus it was cheaper for NCL to tender and with her two Little Norway it was a fairly quick process.

If I don't know the answer I'm fairly certain I can find it.

Can you imagine trying to tender the Oasis anywhere?

It would be easier if Oasis carried her own portable bridge than to try and tender a full compliment.

At this point, Oasis is not porting anywhere that would need to be tendered. That would be a logistical nightmare!

Didn't RCI "promise" that the Oasis would never tender? Labadee was the biggest hurdle which they resolved. Although, it will be very interesting to see just how well that floating pier stands up to hurricane season.
