St. Maarten question
We have Joyce Prince booked for an afternoon tour. She asked us if we would like to be picked up at the pier or in Phillipsburg. It is worth going into Phillipsburg to shop and look around, or should we just relax on the ship and leave for the tour at 1:00 when she picks us up? We've never been to St. Maarten before and have no idea if going into Phillipsburg is worth the trouble or not. I would like to hear from those of you who have been there before. Thanks!

Its worth it to go in there and shop. They have great jewelry if you like that and its just a neat place to go in and shop.

I don't shop, but my wife does. However, I figure any place where you can buy Carib beer from street vendors(on just about any street corner) for a buck is a good place to shop. Phillipsburg is a great place to shop.
