We absolutely LOVE St.Maarten (Dutch Side) so that's my pick.

Must say that we also enjoy going to Orient Beach on the French side ... but that's about all we really like over on that part of the island.

Dutch side for sure. I always notice the locals on the French side are not as friendly, and even a little rude.

What I loved about the island was the friendly political nature of the island. Both sides respect the other side and everyone gets along. Different flavors but a very nice mix.
