Calling this a "semi-report" because it's coming second hand from some folks from NYC we met on a cruise.
They took an excursion from St. Maarten to Aguilla through the cruise line last year and really loved it. They very much enjoyed the shore excursion and loved Aguilla.
Received an email from them a couple of days ago telling us they loved their time in Aguilla so much they had rented a place there for the month of February '08! (Normally, they spend January - March on cruise ship or a land location in the Caribbean so their opinion can be trusted ... not a silly whim!)
Just thought some of you might like to know they were happy with the Aguilla excursion offered by the ship!

We met them on HAL. Think, they took the excursion on Celebrity. (They mostly flip-flop between HAL and Celebrity with a RCI and Princess from time to time. They had a billing problem with Regent once so know that was out.) They're really nice people who love NYC ... just not in the winter.
Hanna .... one thing you might appreciate for your DH is that they need to avoid the sun as much as possible. Still, they enjoy being in the Caribbean. The excursion to Aguilla seemed to have made them happy.

YES! VERY HELPFUL! Thanks so much!
Princess offers an excursion to Anguilla to "Swim with the Dolphins"! Off to the side it states: PASSPORT REQUIRED
Just because it's an excursion offered by the ship doesn't mean a passport isn't needed.

PLEASE READ THIS. IT MAY BE FIX AND UP AND RUNNING NOW BUT U NEED TO KNOW BEFORE YOU GO. Problems at the Dolphin Pond
From Don Mitchell's blog: "The Dolphin Discovery facility at Meads Bay is closed down. It appears to have been abandoned by the previous management. There seems to be only a handyman present on the site during the day. He tries valiently and without management guidance to keep up with basic maintenance. The dolphins are left to swim in their own waste. The water has become badly polluted. It is now in what must be a dangerous state for the health of the dolphins and anyone else, for that matter, venturing into the water."
