Thread: Port: Philipsburg, St. Maarten

This is our thread to talk about what to do in the exciting port of Philipsbug, St. Maarten!!

According to the itinerary we arrive here on Tuesday September 4th at 9:00 AM and we leave at 6:00 PM.


So what are you all going to do while in St. Maarten?

For those of us that have signed up for the Bernard Tour (SXM Tours his email address is info@sxmtours.com ) , this is just to give you a bit more information.


Our customized itinerary is to start from the port at 9am and head north to the French side and visit Orient Beach. Some can do some shopping while others can take in the beach. After a while we have plans to stop at scenic places all around the island as we head north and west. Then as we head down the western side of the island we are stopping at Maho Beach for the plane spotting. Afterward we will be stopping in Philipsburg for outstanding dutch shopping.

The cost for the tour is $45 per person. Please have cash to pay for the tour on the morning of the excursion.

My friend from St. Maarten called me again last night. He doesn't work at the Sunset Beach Bar anymore, so I'm supposed to call him when I get there. LOL I hate to promise anything for sure....I never know what state of mind I'll be in I'm looking forward to this day.

I think this tour is going to be "freakin a" if you know what I mean

I mean, we have all of us Luni's all together in one van!

Darn! We are going to be in St. Maarten on the 5th! It would have been fun to meet some of you guys face to face. We are on the Carnival Glory leaving from Pt. Canaveral on 9/1. We don't have any ports together! Bummer.

Thanks for the invite, but we will be leaving from Port Canaveral...a bit too far up the coast for a meet up!
