Day in St. Martin

Hello All;

It's been a wahile since I have posted. My writing has kept me on the computer but not for as much fun as I would like.

I have a question about St. Martin. Karen and I will be there for one day in February (Princess Eastern Caribeaan itinerary). We have been on St. Martin before. Our typical day is beach (usually Orient) in the morning and stroll around Philipsburg in the afternoon. This year we would like to do something a bit different. Maybe Marigot, maybe Maho beach maybe ???. I'd like to hear any and all suggestions.

Thanks in advance and Best to All

Harry, when we were there this past Thanksgiving Day on the Crown Princess, we bought the St Maarten Island Tour, and boarded the motor coach which proceeded to Marigot. We got off and spent about an hour there. We then drove back into the Dutch half of the island and our beach break was at Mullet Bay, which is a very nice beach. Lounge chair with an umbrella was an extra $10. Food was extra too. We spent about 3 hours at the beach, the stopped for a drink, and had the option of being dropped off in Philipsburg, or at the pier. Many points of interest are pointed out by the driver who does the narration.
You can always take a taxi at the pier to Marigot and spent more time there, it's beautiful, then hit Maho Beach, and Philipsburg.

MD11F and Tmmull:

Thanks for the input. We will cetainly consider these opitions. MD, my son just signed on (since Oct) with Chataqua (sp). He is FO on an ERJ 145. Really seems to like it much more than the time he spent with Mesaba and NWA.
