catamaran sail and snorkel

Has anyone taken a Catamaran on Antigua or St. Maarten. Did you book thru the cruise line or on your own. Was it a private charter or with a group? What did you do?
I am looking to book one that we are able to sail, snorkel and swim
thanks

We booked the catamaran to St. John from St. Thomas and it was absolutely wonderful. We did the 1/2 day so that we'd have time to shop on the way back and be onboard before rush hour. We were back in plenty of time to be cleaned up and have a cocktail in hand for the sailaway.

The excursion (booked through the ship) was fabulous. They took us by open-air bus to a marina on the other side of the island, so there was somewhat of a tour on the way. When we reached the marina, we were greeted by an awesome crew of 3 Americans who treated us like royalty while we learned a lot about the formation of the islands and the sealife there. We cruised to St. John and anchored at Honeymoon Beach, which is totally unspoiled and beautiful. We were provided with disinfected snorkeling equipment and lessons for those who wanted them. We snorkeled for an hour or more, then set sail back to the marina. During the sail back, we were treated to snacks, premium beers and rum punch. It was really relaxing and just a super, super day.

We have booked 2 catamaran snorkeling excursions for our cruise in March....I hope they can measure up to this one!

I did one of these in Antigua. It was wonderful! The boat stopped at two snorkel sites and one swimming site.
One of the snorkel site was a place where Sea Turtles hand out. The water was rough and stirred up that day in that particular location, so the turtles were hard to see.

I've done a few of these. I've usually booked it through the cruiseline for ease.
Enjoyed it in Tortola as well as Aruba! I would love to sail one from St. Thomas to St. John's....

St Maarten Catamaran -French Connection

We did this just a few weeks ago, it was excellent , the French Connection Catamaran, its beatuiful and crew was a husband and wife. The snorkeling was the best I've seen in st martin and it was a full day event, even shopping in Marigot, well in theory shopping, for us it was more like drinking anyways it was a great tour and I would recommend it

Question How was French Connection sail and snorkel?

We are 2 families. with 6 kids between 6 and 16. Would you recommend this trip for families? Was French Connection reliable with their pick up and return times to the cruise ship? Any difficulty in finding their pick up on the pier? Any negatives?
Thanks...

Sail & Snorkel in St Martin

My colleagues just got back from St martin and they did the French Connection Cat.....seems to have all the sail and snorkel ingredients! One of them is a big sail enthusiast and reckons the cat is almost a million dollars and brand new. he couldnt believe tghye got a boat like that for a reasonable private charter price. (around $700 for the 12 of them). Ill be on it on next years office cruise!
