Caribbean Pirates Extravaganza

I'm considering taking this shore excursion in St. Lucia on our cruise next year. I've read that to get to Pigeon Island the passengers have to board small boats.

How do you get from the tall ship to the small boats? I'm travelling with two elderly people who are concerned they won't be able to get into the small boats to go ashore on Pigeon Island.

Also your thoughts of the excursions (good and bad) will be greatly appreciated.

well i'll be able to tell you in 2 weeks... im leaving on the 21st for a 10 day but im sure others will get to you first...

Chris, even if others do get to back to me before you, please do let me know how you like this excursion. We were on the Sun Princess in this February. What islands are you going to? Maybe it's the same cruise as we were on.

Yes update please!! I'd like to know too as I'm considering doing this excursion in December othrough Carnival.
