Thread: St.Kitts: What have you done there?

Which of these have you done on your port stops in St.Kitts?

Any you especially liked/did not like? This sort of information can be very helpful to others.

I've done the Scenic Railway both times in St. Kitts. It is great fun! On the second visit, I persuaded several others of my group to join me; we had a ball.

Do you suppose almost unlimited rum punch before lunch has anything to do with it?

Next time, I think I'll go to Nevis.

LuLu, I said other. when we went there a while back we got a taxi and went to the beach where the Monkey Bar is. We spent the whole day there. My sister-in law call them about 4 months before we got there. They took care of us all day. It's located on South Frigate Bay Beach.

The catamaran to Nevis has always been our favorite thing to do in St.Kitts!

The new port terminal shopping area is really rather nice -- great covered bar in the middle to "park" husbands. Also, a good place to chat with others from a different cruise ship.

We went to Turtle Beach once and didn't enjoy it very much at all!

JW, I've never heard any but nice things about the Monkey Bar! We'd like to do that sometimes.

LuLu, one day we'll do another southern cruise and revisit the Monkey bar and hopefully do other things there.
No matter where we go it's nice to just kick back and relax. That's what vacations are all about.
By the way if you drink you got to get a monkey drink. Don't know whats in it but it gooooood.

did the island tour with fort brimstone. definitly a sugar island, hot and humid when we were there.
