UPDATE

Good News! My daughter's family and friends recently returned from a cruise on Celebrity Mercury with a port stop in St.Kitts.

They booked FanTaSea and it is, once again, going to the beach in Nevis.

Unfortunately, as they approached the beach, there were very rough seas so they sailed along the coast of Nevis so everyone could at least see it and then went to a beach in St. Kitts. They were credited with a 10% discount for not getting to the beach in Nevis which they didn't even request.

There were four adults (mid 40's) and five teens (12 - 17) and they all LOVED the beach in St.Kitts. They totally enjoyed everything -- the sail, the snorkel stop, the beach, and the extremely good crew.

I usually enjoy the catamaran tours, however-----

I don't snorkle!

Would I still enjoy this excursion if I just went for a quick swim or stayed on the boat?


I think I've seen pictures of this excursion. Is your lunch on the island served on long, wooden tables?

How are the drinks???

We took several boat rides on our 14 day Caribbean cruise in Jan 2011 on Celebrity Summitt. The FanTaSea boat trip was the best of the all the boat rides, we sailed all the way out and back and the 2 boats were really fast, we were cranking at 20 knots at times, really fun! The food was good and the snorkeling was good (not great). The crew is amazing and we drank rum punches and danced all the way back.
