Thread: Need Advice About Cabin on Splendour in South America

I need some advice on Splendour. I've only cruised on Radiance-class ships before, which I love. Splendour is going to be doing South America, Around the Horn, cruises in Winter 2007/8. What do you think of aft cabins on Deck 7 (D1 category)? We've reserved 7130 for now. This cruise is a scenery intensive one, so would you recommend an aft cabin on Splendour? Splendour's aft balconies are NOT the same as Radiance-class. I've checked the CC boards and realize you don't look "down" to the water, rather it's out to the wake. Or would we do just as well with mid-ships on starboard (the Land side), since we're cruising Buenos Aires to Santiago? Any thoughts or advice would be appreciated.
