Don spoke with his Sister yesterday. She would like to join us but needs to convince DH. I am going to send photos and information to her to rush this along. They usually travel a lot with her other Brother so this would be a change for them. He DH might like that....

BTW, I got my goodie package and was thrilled. I tried the Italian Roast yesterday and it was rather robust. I did the Sumatra today and it was a wonderful way to start the day.

This will be number 5 or 6 for me and I never get tired or less awed with the wonder of Alaska. I'm hoping that this will be extra special as it will be my first to Glacier Bay.

The Italian roast was very good but a little too bold for Gail, just fine for mr though. I really love the Sumatra coffee, it's one of the best I have ever tasted. I picked up some coffee from Brazil a couple of months ago at Grocery Outlet. It was Marques Paiva Estate Harvest. It was good enough to get Gail switched from Folgers. I also like some of the African coffees, specifically from Kenya and Ethiopia. I haven't gotten any Starbucks coffee that I haven't enjoyed. I like to experiment and need to find a good decaf to make iced coffee in the evening.

Hey Reggie, you should try Kona... (that is my favorite) Anytime anyone goes to Hawaii, I send them with money for Coffee. Angela brought me back a 2 pound package from your cruise. It was 100% Kona and I know that she must have spent a fortune on it. Very rich and strong, so I often "cut" it with a scoop of Folgers. I know, I know... dreadful thing to do to good coffee, but it can be so overwhelming that I end up leaving half of it in the pot. But it is nice "cut" with some Baileys Irish cream !

I also like some of the African coffees, specifically from Kenya and Ethiopia. I haven't gotten any Starbucks coffee that I haven't enjoyed. I like to experiment and need to find a good decaf to make iced coffee in the evening.
