OK Reggie when do we start booking the train trip!!

It's at the top of my list when I return from Florida.
I need to do a deposit within 10 days of booking so
I'm waiting till I return. The dates are wide open right now so there should be no problem.

At this point the light rail system is not completly open to the airport. There is a shuttle from the terminal to the first open stop about 3 miles away. The airport station is scheduled to open in December of 2009 so it should be an option for this cruise.
The light rail will take you from the airport to what has been called the downtown bus tunnel. (I am not sure if they are changing the name now that light rail is also in the tunnel) If your luggage is managable, you can ride the light rail to downtown and then take a short cab ride to your hotel. The cost of the light rail from the airport to downtown is $2.50pp A cab from the airport to downtown is $32.

Let's see all of these Ladies and shoes for a week!! Mine won't be managable. Managable is a 3 or 4 day cruise to nowhere!! One time we had a meeting in St. Louis and we took the train to our hotel. There was a stop adjacent to our hotel. That was so convenient. I remember when my Son was attending UW the train was on the ballot. It's great that it has come to life. I'm sure it will get a lot of use. Great to hear the good news!!

John, thank you for the information. We will have 2 large bags plus 2 carry ons ... think the cab from the airport is going to be the better deal for us. The airport employees are going to love the light rail. Glad to see it is a reality.
