Anthony’s Pier 66 is located on the downtown Seattle waterfront in the same building as Anthony’s Bell St. Diner and Anthony’s Fish Bar. Anthony’s Pier 66 is a premier Northwest seafood restaurant with panoramic views of the downtown Seattle skyline, Mt. Rainier, and Elliott Bay's boating activity. Anthony's Pier 66 features fresh Northwest seafood simply prepared, in a contemporary, sophisticated waterfront setting.
We ate at an amazing restaurant just north (to the right if you are facing the market) of Pike Street Market. Wonderful meal with a great view. Small city park area between it and the market.
From your description of the location I believe you are referring to a place called Cutter's.
As for Anthony's that is our favorite seafood restaurant around here. Ivar's is ok but not what it once was.
Blizzard, yes, I think it was Cutter's. That sounds familiar. Food was GREAT there. Thank you for the posts here. Any/all information about the area is appreciated.
I grew up in WA and Ivar's was the place to eat seafood. I remember going to the waterfront and having a fast food type lunch there (tables outside, pick up window). My dad loved going to the Ole Curosity Shop on the waterfront.
Another favorite was going to the Woodland Park Zoo. Woodland Park Zoo, Seattle WA At that time Woodland Park had giraffes and was a much bigger zoo than Point Defiance Zoo. Funny the things we remember from our childhood.

That would have been the Ivar's Fish Bar at pier 54. They have several different restaurant formats. Ye Ole Curiosity Shop is still operating on the waterfront although they had to move a few years back.
I will try to keep tabs on this thread for any questions about Seattle that might come up.
I am not on the board too much these days because we are dealing with a major renovation of our house. A water line leaked during our last cruise and we came home to a mess. It may be another couple months before it is all back together.

I may have to take a serious look at this sailing. We have not been to Glacier Bay since 1996.

Reggie's got some good deals for this adventure. I read today that light rail is up and running. A long time coming but a great way to move folks around....

I use Orange Cabs because they have a lot of van cabs.
I've always gotten great service and prompt pickups.
