As usual, they tell customer service last, after the rest of the industry knows. In 2004, I had people telling me that my cruise was going to Grand Cayman after the port had been demolished by Ivan. This is not a phenomenon restricted to RC, unfortunately.

    The real story is here:

I am not copying it is already on a previous post.
How they will adjust the cruise schedule is still in work.

Pullmantur is still not showing Sovereign, but I will keep watching. Sheila, it's time to brush up on your espagnol!!!

As you know I check every single day and some times a dozen times a day to see if the Monarch is opened for April 2009. I just did it and woo woo woo it is open. I am going to book my DD's sweet 16 in a few!!

OK it is done!! I have two rooms booked on deck 7 Cat F1. I am so happy. Unfortunately it is no longer a surprise like the Sovereign was to be. But she is so happy. Now I have to figure out how the heck I am going to pay for the 4 cruises I have booked!!! Well the NYE is paid for.

OH... I love deck 7 on the Sovereign!
Would think it would be the same on the Monarch.

7038 was the cabin number we had on our very first cruise ever!
We booked the same cabin again for our Christmas cruise in 2005, and have it booked again for our 'Farewell Sovereign' cruise.

Other than that, we tend to book deck 8, which is a little less expensive.

We are in 7544 and 7546. I am so excited.

It was so funny when I called and asked to book this cruise and she told me that it could not be booked they were moving the ship. I told her yeah I know and I want the PC sailing in 2009. lol She said it is not available yet. I said thats funny since I can book on-line. She then did a check on it and was very surprised. lol I was happy because RCI website was not allowing me many choices on rooms. At first we were going to be an outside and an inside but then Jeff made me call back and get two outsides. I am truly excited about this cruise. I just hope nothing happens that we can not go.

Don't forget travel insurance, in case something DOES prevent you from going!
