    New buenos Aires Cruise Terminal

Buenos Aires’ first dedicated cruise terminal is scheduled to open in December to accommodate the surge in arrivals over the past five years. The 12,300 sqm Quinquela Martin terminal will be able to handle 12,000 passengers a day and will incorporate a large retail area in the arrivals area.

Cruise traffic into Buenos Aires has doubled since 2005, and last year the port welcomed 140 vessels carrying a total of 230,000 passengers. The new terminal means that, instead of one 300 m ship at a time, the port will now be able to process four such ships simultaneously

Is that when you'll be there?
    That gives them a month.

Sounds like it will be a big improvement over where the ships are having to dock there now.

I just checked my docs, and we will be using the new port terminal on Dec. 8.

I will be sure to take note and let you know how things go. I should warn you though. Since our ship leaves at 10 pm, I sincerely doubt we will be boarding as soon as the ship is cleared to do so. My husband is never in a hurry on vacations, and will a sail-away time that late, I see no reason to push him!
