Solstice to Hawaii April 25, 2013

    Hello everyone,

Just thought I would go ahead and post though this cruise is soooo far away but that just gives all of us more time to plan. We are Tommy and Esther (erms) from Stockton, CA.

    Hey Tommy and Esther!

You are going to have a long time to plan for this cruise!

I'm not on your sailing at this point in time, but you never know.....

However, I have been to Hawaii and I have sailed on the Solstice....absolutely love the Solstice!

Hopefully, there will be some of our other members sailing on this itinerary with you.

This will be our first visit to Hawaiian Islands but sooo looking forward to it. We've been on the Solstice and the Equinox... enjoyed both. Here's hoping you can join us and of course there are other members but they are shy and haven't posted here yet but they will. Have I peaked your curiosity?

Hi Esther! As you already know, Bob and I will be sailing with you. We're also doing the Sydney to Hawaii cruise. We have a long time to plot and plan, don't we?!

Garry! My head spins thinking of all the cruising you have planned! Sydney to Hawaii!

Enjoy it while you can...we have reached the point of sailing out of US ports now. Those long flights are not possible anymore.

Yes you have! So much so that I looked it up on the Celebrity web site. Unfortunately, this cruise starts in Hawaii and it's just too long a trip from Florida...so sad.

    Hello there stranger,

Nice to see you here. I wonder if we will ever get to on a backto backtoback. Can't leave my pets for so long and besides Tommy has a few more years before retiring. I am already making bookmarks for possible things to do... helicopter with doors off is at the top of my list though DH isn't so keen on it.

What a cheater and smart too! I completely understand it being a too long trip, one year we went to South America and for us it was 18 hours each way... never again. Maybe you can split it, fly to California and visit then fly to Hawaii.

Esther, that's what we're going to do--spend the night in SF before boarding the plane for that long, long flight. We've done a round trip flight before but that was 16 years ago. We were much younger! We did the round trip from Atlanta and had to laugh at our return. According to the clock, we arrived home 1/2 hour before we left Auckland. It sure confused my body!
