    Solstice Transatlantic May 1, 2011

I have booked Solstice's TA crossing for May 1 from FLL to Barcelona. This will be my first trip on the Solstice. Not sure I would qualify as a leader for a RollCall, but would enjoy meeting others doing this trip. As of right now I will be going solo (hard to find a freind to take so much time off of work!)

I am going on this cruise with two of my girlfriends. All three of us play bridge, and hope to find a fourth.

Bad luck here. I have no idea how to play bridge. I love to play cards, though. I am sure you will find a fourth. Sounds like a fun trip with your girlfriends!!! I have always traveled with friends but this trip I decided to do it solo.

From the looks of it, we might be a two/four person roll call! LOL.

I hope you are having a nice day.

I'm also on this cruise, couldn't pass up a bargain. Price with military rate was such that I could afford concierge class - never thought that would happen. It will be me, and my sister Mary. I travel with Essie, the doll in my avatar, and Mary travels with Essie's cousin Lizzie. Carolyn

    What fun!

We have seen quite a few "mascots"( for want of a better word) who always travel and have quite a long history of seeing the world!

In fact, in our family the question is "who's got the squirrel"? It started off as a joke 7 or 8 years ago when we were having an influx of squirrels to our neighborhood and one of our sons in law thought it was funny to hide a little squirrel statue in our house. Then it became a game of hide & seek whenever we got together for family occasions. The best hiding place ever was in one of the outside pockets of our luggage (going on a transatlantic crossing) We did not know until we were unpacking on the ship!
