I wanted to start a roll call on this site for our wonderful group going on Solstice for New Year's. Has anyone joined me yet?

I guess this new Rboin-Free-Zone will be our stomping ground for the next 3-plus months!

Cheryl, good to see you here! This is awesome! We're on the phone with Alan and Pauline right now (Edmonton Alberta, could be a neighbor)! They are in for the 1/1/09 specialty dinner, so we need to add 2.

Hello my fellow travelers. My oh my - look what happens when I go out of town. I bet you all want me to leave more often!!!! I had been on this site before, someone had told me about it long ago but it was very quiet. However, I feel certain that this roll call will be anything but quiet!! I remember the fruballs.

Ed, can you post or link us to a short fruballs lesson. I tried to bestow fruballs but I don't think I did it right.

Fear not - I could never abandon ship. Especially NOW!! This is all just too dang crazy. Hope you are well with all the Hanna/Ike's etc. One of my "clan" is a Baton Rouge girl and she will be without power for another 2-3 WEEKS! Just unbelievable how devastated "Red Stick" was.

Our trip was one of our best. 6 college pledge sisters, most of us were interchangeable roommates for 3 years, we know WAY TOO MUCH on each other. Although our lives are different - each one in her own way - our friendship picks up without a break every year. New friendships are wonderful (as we all know) but old friendships remind you of qualities and dreams you had in yourself and make it quite unique. Yes I always get quite "deep" and introspective after the girls weekend! We had a great time being lazy - and watching McCain's speech and then the UT football game. I have a fabulous sunburn - almost like a cruise...but without the stateroom attendant, the upscale food and the requirement to put on makeup.
