You My point was that she just needed to go and enjoy, for whatever it was, or was not, going to be. If she truly felt that it would not be the cruise that she expected, maybe she should have avoided being on one of the first sailings.

I got into a word of words with a twisted individual that Ed got stuck with on his recent Eq cruise. She happens to have found us chatting here, too, and Char believes she knows her, as well.
Forget the ship Ed, tell us the REAL story!!!! I was just reading a few of the RC's and I can't believe what is being said! Was there nothing that group liked? They find that Royal Caribbean is a higher class of cruise line than celebrity??? And why does YKW2 make that comment that you didn't feel you could attend the RC get together because you were the only american amongst the sea of brits?
I am floored with all the different comments from a variety of posters and their opinions of cruising. However, i must say, cruising out of southampton back in may, I was a bit astonished with the brit atmosphere on the ship, nothing what I had expected. Just like one british lady said "oh my, too many british, I much prefer sailing in the caribbean with the americans"....perhaps after reading the roll calls, I now know why

Well, I didn't feel a part of their roll call. Hardly any of them would even post anything that had anything to do with any of my comments. There was one in their group that acted like they would like for me to come to the sail-a-way with their group. I quit trying to get into "clicks" a long time ago. So, that is about the first time I didn't attend. I did attend the "Connections" party, but I stayed to myself.
I did meet a lot of nice British, Scots, and Irish in Michael's Club each afternoon, however. So, I enjoyed the cruise very much because I am not dependent of someone else's opinions of the cruise, (or of me).
