Welcome back - glad you had a great time. Interesting comparison but I do think that the crowds on Solstice were definitely a factor in us truly enjoying the cruise like we normally do...aside from the lovely present company of course. I know there were a couple of nights we couldn't get a spot in the Martini Bar and I know in Ensemble it took 45 minutes to even get service. I doubt I can get Les back on a holiday cruise - we're too spoiled by cruising "off" weeks where we can do pretty much anything and everything we want with no time delays.

You know, the woman is STILL too stupid to realize that originally I was never arguing with her over the cruise being an inaugural or maiden voyage. Now, while it eventually turned to that, and I did so merely to get her riled up (which obviously worked - "ROTFL"), that was NOT my original point.
My point was that she just needed to go and enjoy, for whatever it was, or was not, going to be. If she truly felt that it would not be the cruise that she expected, maybe she should have avoided being on one of the first sailings.
While I am glad everything appears to have worked out in the end, I will continue to stand by my right to be as "nasty" as I choose when some moron goes around trying to get others riled up over some mundane issue. She even admitted that she incessantly annoyed her TA and Celebrity Corporate regarding the issue, and self-proclaimed to be a Royal PITA.
I highly doubt that anyone at Celebrity thought to themselves that this idiot that keeps annoying us has something intelligent to say. It's more likely that they had already properly planned for the occasion, and this ridiculous woman was nothing more than a nuisance. In fact, if she really was as annoying as she claims, I'll bet they even made a point to inform the ship that they had a "problem child" aboard, and probably to stay very clear of her, and offer her the bare minimum in inaugural gifts...
