That depends on how you do the math, and, of course, what side you're looking at it from.

No, it's not. But apparently that doesn't make us any less stupid and prejudiced, does it?

Funny that people can assume that just because we disagree with their opinion, we have automatically decided that we dislike them.

That's rather ignorant thinking.

I think it's "stupid and prejudiced" to believe that everyone should agree with how you believe.

Heaven forbid that we have our own opinion on an issue.

So why write the above? What on earth makes you think someone doesn't like you? Paranoia?

So very civilised on one forum and underhand on another - in the UK we call this 'two-faced'!!!!!

I am all for debate - but when the underlying problem is constantly ignored, the debaters just become a nuisance!! And are dealt with accordingly!!

Cheers!!!

We returned from our Baltic cruise on Constellation last night. It was a very nice cruise. The ports were nice, but the ship and crew is what made this cruise memorable.

The perks on this cruise for Elite and/or suite guests (supposedly to add to other ships soon) were finally something to talk about. We got a big bag of laundry free, 90 minutes of INTERNET each (180 minutes), a trip to the bridge, galley, back stage, a Happy 2 hours in Michael's Club each day, an invitation for a free dinner in Ocean Liners the first night, and a few more I will remember later. Anyhow, if they keep this going, they will make a lot of us happy.

You talk about a WONDERFUL captain, he was the best we ever sailed with. (I hope all this doesn't sound boastful, I just want to let you know why it was a special cruise to us). We were invited to dine with Captain Pagonis the first formal night, and I guess he liked us. He seemed to love talking with everyone, and was the most outgoing cap[tain we have met. He trained under Papanickalaou, (up till now our favorite captain) and he is even friendlier. His noon time announcements were a hoot. Anyhow, he said anytime we were sailing on Ce;celebrity and to let him know via his PERSONAL e-mail and he would tell them we were coming.

He also said he wanted us to come to the bridge for the sail-a-way from Stockholm, and to bring Sean because he wanted to meet him. It was WONDERFUL. There were about 10 of us there for sail-a-way on the bridge, and he also opened the helipad for all the Elite members with refreshments served by crew members on the bridge and the helipad. (OK, I confess it was nice showing off and waving at folks on the helipad from the bridge. ) We had our sail-a-way party in our room and veranda, so we knew a lot of the folks on the helipad.

We loved the ports of call, but as you can probably tell, the camaraderie on the ship was what really enhanced the cruise.

OK, I guess I have rambled enough , but if you have any questions, let me know.
Yes, I have a question!!

Are you referring to Captain Yannis Papanikolau?

We know him so well - and the gorgeous Capt. Manetas. Yes, the rose Captain, as we so fondly recall!! On one Connie ta cruise, we were invited to the top table three times - only went twice and the third time we requested it was to the Ocean Liners - but we do like and appreciate the Greeks guys and we feel it is reciprocated!!

All friends of Nickos Batistatos of course. Had an e-mail from him the other day - interestingly, he is now working for a competitor of RCCL.

I know you will all be so grateful I have shared that with you!!!

Irritating isn't it, that Celebrity send me gifts? ROTFL!!!!

Ed - welcome home! Sorry you have to survive another 30 days until the next one....

My TA had emailed me awhile back that the Captains Club perks were supposed to be quite good in the future - and it sounds like they are following through. Funny - RCCL's has gone from very nice to why bother. And after all the hype, we're still favoring M class over S class. But it will most likely be 2011 before we are back on board X. Not only is it great to pop to Galveston but the prices for a JS on RCCL right now let us keep cruising twice a year.

So I believed as well. Hmmm?

But, I suppose people feel that they have the right to go around spewing their opinion everywhere and expecting everyone to fall to their knees and accept it.

I don't suppose we are permitted to have our own opinion, nor the right to voice that opinion, especially in "our" own home.

That seems awfully authoritarian and dictatorial to me.

Unlike CC our roll calls are open to anyone. A new member may ask questions if they are planning on booking this ship or even to just say Hi. We are a friendly board. If an issue arises a PM to any of the mods will be looked at. Harassment is not tolerated by anyone.
