Gable's name comes from Clark Gable. Mindy is a huge fan of GWTW, and we thought the name was cute and fit him.

Yes, he is the one we were hoping for. He fell asleep on Mindy's lap when we were visiting them at four weeks old. The breeder claimed that never happens, and that it was a no-brainer since then, but they just wanted to make sure since personalities can change.

Seems he took to Mindy right away, and it's been love between the two ever since. He's been a perfect angel, and has taken to living with us (and without his brothers & sisters) very well. Only two "accidents" and he only really fussed the first night he was home.

I don't have children of my own, but I now understand the pride, excitement & gushing that new parents go through.

Likewise with our dogs. Both pound puppies. What is interesting is that Deb chose Stormy and I chose Mac. Guess who usually hangs out around me and who hangs out around Deb?
