Hi Dave,
We sail with Radisson and we just love. I really think it's the best cruiseline out there.
Where is this one going? You said 'transatlantic' but does that mean Is it just sailing across the ocean or do you visit ports when you get over there?
The reason I ask is this - one of my favorite things about Radisson is their shore excursions. Radisson shore excursions have always been a whole different type of experience than the shore excursions on other cruises we've sailed. They are just so well done, so small and intimate...it's like having your own personal tourguide. The things to do are a little out of the ordinary, always fun and interesting. You never feel that cattle car feeling, things can be adjusted, you never wait in line...and it's six star wonderful all the way.
If you want to see what I mean about the shore excursions, check out my cruise review of last fall's trip on the Voyager to the Mediterranean. It has lots of descriptions and photos.

GUESS YOU ARE NOT DOING THIS CRUIE THEN? NO NO PORTS OF CALL SO WON'T GET A CHANCE WIT THE EXCURSIONS JUST FRROM MAdeira to miami 7 days at sea.

No, we aren't going to be on that one. But even without shore excursion you will have a wonderful time. Be sure to take advantage of the specialty restaurants while sailing on Radisson. They are no extra charge, and are usually outstanding. The last time we ate at Signatures on the Voyager. The chefs were trained at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris, and many of the menus on the item were from there as well. Really special, and not something you get to do every day. I hope to hear about your trip after you return to hear what you think!
