Thread: 4/11 - 4/18 - Looking for input for Adventure Ocean

Howdy guys,

First post here - going to be browsing and reading all about Serenade, but wanted to say hello and announce my excitement in our upcoming Southern Caribbean cruise!

My husband and I finally agreed to bring our children (soon to be 12 and 7) on their first cruise and we are VERY nervous about having enough entertainment for them.

This will be my 4th cruise (3rd on Royal Caribbean) and I'm very excited!

Anyone else out there going on this trip too?

How good is the Adventure Ocean program? Will my daughter (12) and son (7) be engaged and active and want to spend time there? Or will they be bugging us all day and making "our time" miserable?

My husband and I hope to scuba dive in the morning at a few ports, then we'll do family lunch. Afternoon will be family excursions or island exploration. Then family dinner and we can decide on watching the nightly show or splitting up from there.

So, I'd LOVE to hear all about the Serenade's Adventure Ocean program and if my kids will be happy there and what kind of hours it keeps and do our kids have some choices on what activities they participate in, etc.
