Talking Serenade of the Seas 5/30/09, The NUTZ go North MOS too!

This is a place where we can plan for NUTZ III.
We change change the name on the thread when we pick a date.
I suspect we will end up on the Serenade but if we change it we can move the thread to another ship.

I made my way here. Without taking the time to look on the RCI website, I'm hoping you'll know what the Serenade does in Alaska.

The information for 2009 is not available yet.
For 2008 RCL has 3 options.
The Rhapsody is doing 7 night r/t out of Seattle
The Radiance is doing 7 night N/S between Vancouver to Seward
The Serenade is doing 7 night R/T Vancouver.
Since many of the NUTZ are or will be Diamond, I was thinking that having the Concierge lounge would be a plus.
At this point we can use this as a place to stay in touch and discuss the options. I can edit the name and move the thread if we decide on a different ship.

I agree about the Concierge Lounge. I have about decided I don't need to be Diamond for the family cruise this summer even though there is a Concierge Lounge on the Jewel since none of my family will be able to use it. So I can use that cruise for 2 of the 3 credits I need to get to Diamond and not do the B2B in April. If we do a Radiance class to Alaska, I'll need to figure out a way to get one more credit before NUTZ III. I guess I need to do some research...

    SJ,
Does the Rhapsody and the Serenade have pool tables? It's not that important, just wondering. Cruising with the NUTZ is enough, but pool tables would be a real bonus.

    Laura,

The Rhapsody does not, the Serenade does.

Laura, just FYI, the Rhapsody is pretty much a clone of the Vision and the Serenade is a sister to the Radiance.

I would much prefer to sail on either the Radiance or the Serenade for NUTZ III but, of course, will go wherever the majority leads. Being with the NUTZ is the important thing!

I would also prefer a Radiance Class ship. Even though I would have to travel to Vancouver instead of being able to board from here.

We could still have a pre-cruise gathering here and charter a van to get to the ship. Because of limited flights and sometime much higher rates, many cruisers fly into Seatac and then bus or train up to Vancouver. The distance is about 130 miles.

Glad to see you have started NUTZ III

Hopefully our plans will work out with the MOS and be one really big party!

The MOS is currently voting and the Senerade out of Vancouver on May 30, 2009 is on the list. With this cruise there are also 3 & 5 night land options that can be added if desired.
