I don't know what happened to the original thread but it seems to be gone so I am started a new one.

This 14 night cruise should be great.

Any 14 night cruise should be great. I'll be doing the 14 night Mercury Alaska cruise sailing April 27, 2008 from SF.

I looked... we're not in any ports at the same time... Actually, the two itineraries are pretty similar. On Serenade, we have a stop in Seattle, Mercury has a stop in Montery, California instead. The Montery stop sounds interesting since I haven't ever been there, I've been to Seattle several times (how about you John?

) Of course, I LOVE Serenade, so that more than makes up for Seattle vs Montery, IMO.

We have been to Seattle as a port stop about 4 times. It is always interesting to see it as a tourist. I have been to Montery a couple times, but not on a cruise.

That is the one I am looking at. it is over 5200 ft long with a 1300ft drop.
They also use a seat harness and have a weight limit that I can handle.
