Boy is time flying by now, just seemed like yesterday it was 70 days.

Angie wanted to do the Dolphin thing in Nassau but might wait till June and do it on our next cruise with the 2 grandkids. SIL and me will just go as observers (aka: Pictures takers). So that means we are now back to SHOPPING and EATING, not necessarily in that order.

But you can rule out !!!

Enough said, later
Mike

I did the dolphin encounter with my 2 oldest kiddos in 1999! Geesh it has been THAT long? Keep in mind...they smell like fish, lol. They didn't allow anyone to picture take without paying for the encounter. Things may have changed by now though.

Shopping??? Did someone say shopping?

To be an "OBSERVER" at the Dolphin Encounter costs $20. You can save about $30 pp. by booking direct over the price of the ship's price, that's 4 more drinks.

So Delores, how's the blizzard going? I just hope it doesn't wait till April 22 to do it here in I-O-WAY. Haven't seen too many planes with snowplows on them.

Time to brew up some coffee

Mike...that is great about the observer thing. Maybe they wouldn't let me, because I had to be there with the kids. I would book separate of the ship. Not snowing here yet...it is in MA. I should make some coffee too...I just can't sleep so I am watching the Olympics. You have the best graphics.

So Delores, how much snow did you guys get? After seeing the footage on The Weather Channel, didn't realize how lucky we were. Looks like another storm on the horizon, maybe Thursday for us. Next weekend for you guys?

Did ya get any more people signed up for the cruise? Our daughter might have went on this one, but didn't want to take her daughter out of school, that is why she opted for the cruise in June.

Time to get the coffee abrewing, one more day marked off (almost) till the cruise.

Mike, I was far enough North that this one was NOT a headache for us...no more than 4 inches maybe (of course I didn't venture outside either)

Nope...no one else for the cruise. too bad about your daughter not coming on this one. I understand about school though. If my kids were younger I wouldn't hesitate...my oldest is a junior in high school, next year I could take her out without any problem...my son is in 7th grade...first year in middle school.

Unless the ship fills up last minute...there are still a decent amount of cabins left....I still have 6 allotted in my group oh well....I got 7 in the group booked. I am interested to see what the rates go to when it is last minute...right now they are higher than they were originally, for individual ressies.

Maybe some people in your group can get upgraded, if that is possible. Everybody likes to get surprised with a upgrade. Angie's brother on our last cruise got upgraded to a Cat.12. He was so proud of his 2 toilets, especially the "SQUARE ONE". Never seen one of those before. That was the first thing he showed us when we went to his cabin.

Looks like for Thursday they have predicted "moderate snow " for us. Thye have been known for those "not so accurate forecasts". We'll see.

Is it April yet?

Mike

An upgrade would be nice, but I could only take one for me if they moved my kids too, lol. Maybe one of the others in my group would want it. My mom has the cat 11 because she likes to be near the top...if they upgraded her to 12, she might refuse it as it is on a lower deck she is weird.

My kids are currently across the hall, so They would have to be able to move as well.

I am faxing the final rooming list later today. Mike is your fun pass all filled out?

Our Fun Pass was filled out right after we received our booking number. It's printed up in our folder.

Angie's mom didn't care for the wraparound on the Pride. We totally enjoyed it. We had some rough seas the whole cruise, didn't bother us any. It's the only way to go.

Time to head out

Mike

Good afternoon,

I sold another cabin today for this sailing, as part of the group. I had released the cabins just the other day and Carnival originally said the price was what was in the individual reservations. The supervisor said I could have my group price back and gave them the upgrade as well! They were happy. Now the guy has to get the time off work, lol.
