Gee, I would love it!!I look for elderly passengers just to shoot the breeze!! They have wonderful interesting stories to tell, and I love it!! Many are lonely and love the attention!!

My Signature Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me! I want people to know why I look this way. I've traveled a long way, and some of the roads weren't paved.

Past Cruises Most people walk into and out of your life . . . but FRIENDS leave footprints in your heart

Besides, I'll tell you the same story each time we meet. Pretty soon you'll be able to tell it yourself. By the end of the cruise, you'll believe it happened to you.

My two cents, most of the so called senior cruises I've looked at seemed to be higher in price

My feeling exactly! Many of the more "mature" folks have travelled widely, and what better topic for a conversation among fellow travellers?

I am about as senior as you can get on theses boards -- I was 81 last week. And while a long way from being the oldest on my cruises, I'm up there.

I am not lonely, and I am not looking for attention. I will be glad to share stories and expereinces of travel or anything else with youi But I don't think I am garrulous just because I am old. I have always rambled on -- and maybe on and on!!

I like to cruise, and I like other kinds of travel also. I may not keep up with younger and stronger legs, but I find plenty to amuse me along the way. I don't have to cover a lot of ground or keep moving just to enjoy the trip.

Senior-hood starts these days, so they say, at 55. That is a good deal younger than I. so it is hard to lump alll "seniors' in one generalization.

I also enjoy young people. They too have a lot to share.

Let's just cruise and not worry about age.

love
joan

Cool Amendment proposal

Seniors only is a great idea. However some of the neatest cruisemates.
I've met cruising were in their 40's. The main objection seniors really have are the Go, Go, Go cruisers, and the ones with kids, under 20.

Drawing the line at 55 includes all good people, but excludes many, in their 40's, that would make good cruise mates, that mix well with seniors. Anything over 40, with no kids, would be perfect.

My Signature Ruby Princess Nov 4 for 10 Days of fun.

I'm with you Carol the seniors on that 10 day were very crouchy well some of them anyway. Being a senior myself I think I might be bored with a senoirs only cruise.
