Seattle Monorail update

It has been announce that the Seattle Monorail will not be operating until September 2006.

They got done a little early and the monorail is up and running again.

I wish that it had been operating when we were in Seattle in June.

Have been to Seattle before and loved riding it.

The was a plan for a new monorail running N/S along the west side of the city. As they developed the plan, they decided that the old one would be removed. After a number of cost overuns and financing problems, the plans were canceled. The old monorail should be around for years to come. It was build in 1962.
