The Company that I work for is Headquartered in Seattle. I stay at the hotel next to Pier 66 and there is nothing like throwing back the drapes in the morning and seeing a ship in port. Getting a taxi that morning is a different story. This is quite the improvement for the Emerald City!!

That seems a more convenient place than terminal 30, which was next to the sports complexes. I was nervous when we were going to the terminal for our Alaskan cruise on a Sunday morning in mid August...I thought if there were any games starting in early afternoon, we might have a lot of traffic. Turned out, we didn't.

Traffic will be interesting getting to 91. It is farther from the airport and downtown is between.

BINGO BLIZZARD!
I am already seeing many problems for passengers at the new pier 91 terminal.
Looks like one main enterance in the terminal for BOTH ships = 4500 + passengers, not including crew and other terminal employees!
The parking is so far from the terminal, that you have to be shuttled, not to mention the MUCH higher parking fees!
I think the traffic will be a nightmare getting close to the pier, especially for drop off!
I liked the terminal 30 location MUCH MUCH BETTER!
I really do not mind the HAL bus ride to and from Vancouver! It is beautiful and you have a driver to the airport!

Sounds to me like the secret to all of this is give yourself plenty of time. Cruising is so exciting this won't hold me back. I just booked a cruise leaving from Pier 91 and this information has been very helpful to me and several other folks. Thanks!!

I will be sailing from there in August but will venture down there to see what is going on long before that.
