Thread: 66 or 30?

For those who have sailed out of Terminals 66 or 30, which one do you prefer (ease of getting there, ease of getting on/off ship, ambience....)?

I have cruised out of 66 several times. I have only been to 30 to board a ship for lunch.

Pier 66 is at the north end of downtown about 3 blocks from the Pike Place Market. The Edgewater Hotel is next door and the Marriott Waterfront is across the street. There are a number of moderate priced Hotel/Motels about a mile away in the Seattle Center area. Traffic around the terminal can be congested.

Terminal 30 is a former container terminal. The building itself is not a fancy at 66 but is functional. It is located about 1 mile south of downtown. It is about 2 miles closer to Seatac airport.

The hotels located in the downtown core are about the same distance to either terminal.
