bahamas too little time ? need a back up plan pls help me

    Hi,

It seems we will be only in port from 7 am till 1 pm ( Allure / December )
We would love to go snorkeling ( Stuart Cove ) but it seems our short time does not fit any excursion.
Can anyone advice us a maybe private cy that would take us to Shark reef
Part of booking this cruise was Nassau for having the opportunity to snorkel with the sharks but due to this bad time table it would not be possible to make it in time on board
anyone has a back up plan ??
seeking for decent snorkeling ( no rocks and some fish but real coral and big fish )

    thank you
    Frieda

    Frieda,
You might be more successful in finding good snorkeling at St. Thomas or St. Maarten. They may not have the sharks you want to see but there is plenty of coral and fishes. We've been to Coki Beach for snorkeling and introductory diving and thoroughly enjoyed it.

    Hi Karen,

    Thanks for your response
we also did some snorkeling at St Thomas as well as at St Maarten but truly the big fish are just not there. That is our biggest problem, some fishes and a few rocks is not enough anymore after all those years we raised the bar ....maybe too high
    so call us spoiled
glad that you enjoyed Coki Beach, hope you had a great trip
    have a great weekend
