Question Alternatives to "hop on, hop off" Caribbean cruise

I know about 5 years ago there was a cruise line called Easy Cruise on which you could visit several Caribbean islands by hopping on and hopping off their ship, but they no longer sail in the Caribbean.

Does anyone out there know of an alternative way to cheaply visit several islands? Any suggestions welcome!

    Thanks!!

Don't know what you mean by 'cheaply', but the only real way to visit several islands would be to fly to the biggest one, stay for a couple of days, then take a water taxi to the next island, stay for a couple of days, and so on. Water taxis are plentiful and not very expensive - great way to get around, especially in the American & British Virgin Islands.

We actually did this back in our younger days!

Friend's parents owned a house in St.Croix so eight of us went to visit. We flew into St.Thomas ... then took a water taxi to St.Croix. While there, we'd take a water taxi to which ever US or British Virgin Island we wished. It was a FUN two weeks!

I've had always wanted to rent a sailboat and spend several months sailing around the islands and each night just pull into a secluded cove. Be a great way to see all the islands and not have to pay the high prices for hotels.

There use to be a houseboat rental company in the Bahamas and that was something we seriously thought about doing for a couple of weeks until they went out of business.
